Light in a State of Emergency

I've been a long time supporter of Elephant Energy and am proud to support the Light in a State of Emergency fundraiser. I'm deeply passionate about fighting poverty, the power of solar energy, and womens empowerment, and Elephant Energy is making an impact across all three.

Namibia is in a state of emergency. The most significant drought since 1945 has left 1 in 5 Namibians without access to enough food. EE is providing opportunities to generate income that enables individuals to buy food for their families while providing light to those affected by the drought. We are aiming to raise $30,000 by the end of August to further boost our income generation and energy empowerment projects at this time of need.

If you are in a position to donate, we'd greatly appreciate it and I can assure you the funds will be spent thoughtfully and with a focus on making the biggest impact. If you can’t donate at this time, please share my fundraising page with your friends and family to help me get the word out there.
